ForKids has helped thousands of children and adults become self-sufficient and eliminate the barriers they face to maintaining a stable home.
ForKids serves an average of 75 to 100 families and more than 200 children each year. Our special holiday programs serve an additional 120 children and their families.
Over the last 16 years . . .

- We’ve provided shelter for
more than 1,400 families and 3,000 children
- We’ve served more than 275,000 hot meals
- More than 750 parents became employed during their time in the program
- Over 1,425 homeless children were enrolled in school

FY 2007 Highlights
- 86% of clients found transitional or permanent housing upon exiting our residential programs

- 87% of clients gained, maintained or improved employment during their time in the program
- 98% of children ages 0-6 progressed toward developmental milestones
- 100% of school aged children obtained health insurance and were up to date on immunizations within 30 days of entry
