By Giving Every Month, you help kids like Seth who depend on ForKids. You guarantee that they have shelter, counseling, tutoring and support.
Seth is a sweet, smart, funny 5-year-old boy who happened to also be homeless. 
After Seth and his mom fled an abusive relationship in Florida, they arrived in
Virginia with little money and very little hope.
This is when ForKids stepped in! ForKids provided the shelter and care that both Seth and his mom needed. Our staff immediately recognized Seth’s potential. But, they also discovered that Seth hadn’t been to school in a year. ForKids quickly became Seth’s advocate, wading through the red-tape, enrolling him in summer school, arranging transportation, and tutoring him 4 days a week for 2 hours a day.
With the help of ForKids, Seth passed to the first grade! Today, Seth and his mom live in ForKids’ supportive housing. He has been reunited with his brother and is thriving and growing every day.
